Boat Handling Instruction

New boat owners

It's normal to be intimidated by a "new boat", especially when it's your first. With a few proper hands-on lessons, everyone can enjoy boating. My job is to help you enjoy boating.

I can still remember the feeling of intimidation my first time out. That was a long time ago and fortunately for others, there weren't as many boats around. Today it's like learning to drive in the middle of rush hour.

Instruction program

My instruction program is tailored to the needs of the individual. The boat can be small or large; Gas, Diesel, Outboard, Single Screw or Twin Engines. They all have simple techniques that make it easy once you know how. My teaching technique is to explain how to do it, then show you how to do it. I'll be right there while you practice doing it yourself. Once you get good at it we go on to the next step and not long after, you're enjoying your boat and boating.

Onboard Instruction
